We have news. After retentions, releases, the Draft, we now have our overseas signings for MLC 2025. Some new faces, some familiar with the Blue and Gold #OneFamily who’ve seen them play for the sister franchises in other leagues. But they’re all guns in their game. Let’s say hello ..Quinton de Kock: Protea, ‘keeper, opener, Blue and Gold ledge! A two-time IPL winner with the Mumbai Indians in 2019 and 2020, he’s no stranger to the OneFamily. He loves to take the bowlers on and we love him for that.Michael Bracewell: Fresh off a superb outing in the Champions Trophy where he starred with both bat and ball, we cannot wait for this Kiwi all-rounder to light up America! Naveen-ul-Haq: A feisty quick bowler with an entire range of variations, he stole the spotlight at the 2024 T20 World Cup where his exploits saw Afghanistan reach the semi-finals of the 2024 T20 World Cup, a feat achieved for the first time in their history. Azmatullah Omarzai: Welcome the ICC’s ODI Cricketer of the Year, 2024. He scores big, picks wickets for fun, and is a certified gamechanger. He’s well embedded in the MI OneFamily, having recently won the SA20 with MI Cape Town. George Linde: Another of our MI Cape Town all-rounders, who’s in real top form this season with both bat and ball, and is riding the high of winning the SA20! 

The month-long cricket carnival in the USA is upon us! New venues, a new window in the calendar, the same old pride. Let’s repeat the high of 2023 all over again, shall we?The iconic Oakland Coliseum in the West Coast is all set to make its debut in the MLC, and would host the first leg of the tournament, before we go over to the good old Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas, and finally over to Boward County in Florida for the final leg of the league stage, before heading back to Texas for the playoffs and the final.
